A Soft & Elegant June Wedding at Middleton Lodge.

From the very first conversation with Hailey and George, it was clear just how much they loved their venue - and it’s easy to see why. The Fig House at Middleton Lodge is a truly special space and one of my absolute favourites to work in. With its soft light, beautiful gardens, and relaxed elegance, it creates the perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration.
We worked closely together to refine their flower choices and finalise a colour palette that felt timeless and elegant. Hailey and George chose a delicate mix of whites, champagnes, soft nudes, and blush pinks – a dreamy combination that complemented the venue beautifully and brought a sense of calm, understated luxury to the whole day.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony was planned for the gardens just outside the Fig House. The weather was a little unpredictable that morning, but luckily, the sun made its appearance just in time. We created a ground arch of seasonal florals to frame the spot where Hailey and George exchanged their vows – soft, romantic, and impactful.
The Wedding Breakfast in The Fig House
Inside the Fig House, we focused on creating impact in all the right places. One of the standout moments was a floral cloud installation, suspended in the middle of the room and filled with luxurious roses in soft clustered tones. It brought an instant wow-factor as guests entered the space and tied the whole room together.
The trestle tables were styled with bud vases and soft candlelight, creating an elegant, intimate atmosphere for dinner. We also carefully repurposed the ground arch from the ceremony next to the cake table and in front of the top table, helping to create continuity throughout the day. A half arch at the entrance archway to the Fig House added a final touch of floral detail, welcoming guests into the space beautifully.
One of the most special moments? Seeing Hailey and George’s gorgeous baby girl – the sweetest little flower girl – completely steal the show. It was a day full of love, warmth, and so much joy, and it was a real honour to be part of such a memorable celebration.
