Italy or Northumberland? An intimate ceremony and a heartfelt love story – Eimear and Olly’s wedding at the beautiful Brinkburn Priory in Northumberland was nothing short of magical.

After deciding to let go of their original plans for a larger wedding, the couple chose to create a day that felt more them – relaxed, personal, and full of meaningful moments. And it turned out to be the most perfect day imaginable (helped along by a rare stretch of stunning May weather!).

From our very first chat, Eimear had such a clear and beautiful vision for their celebration. She was drawn to a fresh, modern palette of soft yellows and whites – joyful, elegant, and just right for the season. Her bouquet was especially important to her; she wanted something modern with natural movement and texture. We made sure to include show-stopping peonies as the focal point - because if you’re getting married in peony season, it would be rude not to!

Their outdoor ceremony was held in front of their closest family and friends, framed by elegant urn arrangements on plinths to mark the space and add a sense of quiet beauty to the setting. It felt intimate, relaxed, and full of love.

Eimear had her heart set on an outdoor dinner – always a brave call in the UK – but the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Sunshine, still air, and that golden early summer light set the stage for a beautiful al fresco meal. We styled the tables with a mix of bowl arrangements and delicate bud vases, bringing texture, height, and softness to the tablescape. It was the perfect balance of relaxed and refined.

And can we take a moment to appreciate the Zara plates that Eimear sourced? They were absolutely divine and added such a stylish touch to the whole look – I was a little bit obsessed!

It was such a joy and a privilege to be part of Eimear and Olly’s day. One of those weddings that reminds you exactly why you do what you do. Full of love, laughter, beautiful flowers, and truly meaningful moments.
